Hello from The Beyer Family, Hope this blog finds all our readers well. I am really struggling with this blog post, because I have so much spinning around in my head and still not sure how to share everything. What I can share is, I am at peace and humbled for what God is going to do next. A little over a week ago I found myself stressed, angry, disappointed and unsettled. I was so tired of waiting on God to tell us the next step in our lives. But as we sit and pray and listen to Gods voice He tells us what's next. It doesn't matter if we agree or not. When God tell us to move, we have to move. When God tells us to go over seas, we have to go. When God tells us to sit still and wait, we have to wait. Of course our hearts desire worldly things and we don't want to wait, even when we are Christians. We all want nice stuff, nice house and car etc...and we're not happy until we get what we want. So when God told me it was time to move, I refused. I wanted to stomp my feet and throw a temper tantrum. I shook my finger up at the ceiling saying no no no. I became bitter and angry. Confused and hurt because I was worried about where we were going to go. I wanted the control. And I was not going to allow God to take control. Needless to say God didn't give up on me. Even during my temper tantrum! Instead he sold the rental house in 5 days and is moving us quicker than I ever thought. Friends, God has a sense of humor and just because we think we know what's best, we don't. God does and He even knows our future. He even knows how many hairs are on our heads (Matthew 10:30). My point is, we are all called into Ministry when we accept Christ our Lord and Savior. For Jonah and I, our ministry is Mission U-Too. And no matter how hard things get or how tight our finances are the only One that can get us through the tough times is our God! He will take us down with a tantrum. He may even eliminate things to get our attention, and the only attention we give back is for our Savior. We believe that God is going to do great things for our family. Will you believe that with us? Will you be in prayer for our family? As we continue to do Gods work we need your support and prayers. Our income is faith based. Which means we rely on our supporters and we rely on Christ Jesus to help us get through tough times. Allow God to be your breaking news this week and be on mission for Christ. Listen to what news He is telling you. One way you can be on mission is to support those you believe in, and give. Serving Christ, Christy and family Psalm 27:14 Wait for The Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for The Lord.

Happy Easter to all of our friends and family. Hope everyone's celebration of Jesus' resurrection was beautiful. We went to church Sunday morning and invited friends over for a bite to eat in the afternoon. We won't be doing to much of that anymore in this rental house. As some of you know the owner put the house on the market and in 9 days it was sold. Praise God we still have 30 days to pack and move on. Moving on for us is not going to be to far, however it will be different in most "normal" peoples mind. We are going to be camping out, at a friends house, for the next 4 months. This friend is Jonah's "partner in crime," or in better terms the man who helped start Mission Utoo Bastrop. He is also a drummer in a local church band. We will be using a travel trailer of a friend of the church we attend. They had lost their house in Bastrop's fire and lived in the travel trailer for a year and a few months. Ashley and I are still not comprehending why this is happening. Being girls were not to excited about this living arrangements. Mine is mainly because honestly, I will be leaving my "stuff" behind. Luke 18:22 tells us When Jesus heard his answer, he said, "There is still one thing you haven't done. Sell your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." As I type that passage the light bulb in my head keeps getting brighter and brighter. I am obviously missing something God has been telling me. Please don't think were going to sell everything and run along. We will be getting rid of a lot of things and storing the rest. God is going to teach me obedience even if that means we have to move and live out of a travel trailer.
As most of you know being a Christian is harder than being not. However, the Glory is; we will have eternal life in Heaven forever. We are to follow Christ's calling in our lives. God reveals to us through the story of Elijah that He is found in the still small voice (1 Kings 19:12). When we listen in prayer, we hear HIM. God has called our family to be missionaries. He's called all of his children to be on mission for Christ. Our mission is Mission U-Too, feeding people physically and spiritually. We can take this mission where ever God calls us to be. Even if that means we have to live in a back yard for a few months. What has Jesus put on your heart? Are you fulfilling His command? Here is what God tells us (article from Jesus Calling): I am calling you to a life of constant communion with Me. Basic training includes learning to live above your circumstances, even while interacting on that cluttered plane of life. You yearn for a simplified lifestyle, so that your communication with Me can be uninterrupted. But I challenge you to relinquish the fantasy of an uncluttered world. Accept each day just as it comes, and find Me in the midst of it all. Talk with Me about every aspect of your day, including your feelings. Remember that your ultimate goal is not to control or fix everything around you; it is to keep communing with Me. A successful day is one in which you have stayed in touch with Me, even if many things remain undone at the end of the day. Do not let your to-do list (written or mental) become an idol directing your life. Instead, ask My Spirit to guide you moment by moment. He will keep you close to Me. Pray continually. —1 Thessalonians 5:17 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. —Proverbs 3:6 Remain faithful to Christ. Open your hearts to whatever He is telling you and then move. It may even be a little uncomfortable for you for a brief time, but God will meet you in the end and say "Well done, my good and faithful servant" -Mathew 25:23 May this blog post have an impact on your life.
